The Semi Annual Leaders meeting in Chicago was held at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Conference Center in late January of 2017. Leaders from across the midwest region came to the Chicago to listen to speakers and learn how to improve their business. Adam and Melinda attended the meeting to take pictures and videos of the event. We were excited to visit the city. However, as residents of Atlanta we were not used to the cold weather!
Arriving on a Monday and leaving the next day meant every minute had to be spent wisely. After our flight, we had a tasty lunch with a prominent job board company. Then we went to Chicago Marketing, Inc. where we conducted video interviews with business leaders and employees. And what's a trip to Chicago without some deep dish pizza so we had to check out the famous Lou Malnati's. But then it was right back to the hotel where we took some pictures of a dinner party networking for the attendees.
The next morning was the meeting where they had some amazing speakers. They also handed out awards to the top performers in the region. But even after a long day at the meeting, we still went back to Chicago Marketing, Inc. to finish up some video interviews and pictures. Worried we wouldn’t make it to our flight, we had to scarf down some food in the Uber ride to the airport. We were lucky to not get caught in the Chicago traffic and made it just in time!
Although our packed schedule left no time for sight-seeing, we were glad to help at the Leader’s Meeting in Chicago. We are looking forward to coming back (hopefully when there is warm weather).
