Every year business owners from around the nation gather for the R&R Retreat. This years trip was scheduled to take place in the Dominican Republic but the threat of the Zika virus moved our annual trip to fabulous Las Vegas. The Rubix team packed up their photography and video equipment and ventured to the city.
The Rubix team was tasked with filming and photographing the event. Although we had a job to do, we tried to sneak in some time for play as well. We arrived early so we could catch all the R&R attendees arriving to the beautiful Aria hotel located on the main strip. A couple members of our team relaxed at a pool party before waking up the next day for the early morning meeting.
The meeting was a huge event with inspirational speakers and an award ceremony for all the best performers across the country. There was even an incredible Mercedes-Benz on display that would be given away later. After the meeting, the team did video interviews in Adam’s luxury suite with a panoramic view of the city.
The next morning, the team split up to capture the most footage as possible. Garrett went to film a group of people using firearms and blowing up cars in the desert. Melinda and her husband went to film a group of attendees giving back to the community by feeding the homeless. Adam went to Top Golf and took pictures of people showing off their golf swing and having a good time.
The R&R Retreat was certainly a lot of hard work but we managed to have some fun as well. We captured a ton of great pictures and video. We are looking forward to the next trip and we can’t wait to find out where it will be!
